The much anticipated blooming of the cherry trees in Washington DC has finally occurred! They are as beautiful as ever. This is the time of year that I most love to live here.

If you live here and haven’t gotten downtown yet to see them, go now!

  1. The kids and I went to Brookside Gardens today to enjoy this amazing weather. They have a few amazing old cherry specimens and it was just gorgeous. I don’t think we’ll get down to the Mall in time to see the blossoms, so thanks for the pictures!
